Sweet & Umami Roasted Mushrooms

Here’s a quick and inexpensive dish that is sure to impress at your next party or get together and will taste like a much more expensive dish with sweet, savory and a spicy kick if you so desire.

Ingredients

24oz Cremini Mushrooms

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons Shibumi Kanzuri Black Garlic Sauce (Optional)

3 cloves of garlic, crushed

1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup chopped chives (for topping)

Steps

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Wash and trim the mushroom stems at the bottom. Allow the mushrooms to dry. While the mushrooms are drying, mix together the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, black garlic sauce, crushed garlic and ground pepper in a measuring cup with a fork.

Coat a 9x13 non-stick baking pan with olive oil.

Arrange the mushrooms stem side up in the baking pan.

Pour the soy and balsamic mixture over the arranged mushrooms, ensuring there is enough sauce for all of the mushrooms.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Top with the chopped chives and enjoy!
